After that, he joined B B Eye Foundation, Kolkata, he is a senior retina doctor in Kolkata of B B Eye Foundation, He has completed his long-term fellowship in vitreo-retina sub-specialty under the mentorship of Dr. Rupak Kanti Biswasat B B Eye Foundation and inherited the skills of Vitreo retina surgeries. Dr. Prakash is well experienced in managing different complicated retinal diseases. He has performed a huge number (3000+) of retinal surgeries and is highly proficient in complicated vitreo retinal surgery including complicated retinal detachment, macular hole & others. He has presented various papers at different national and international conferences. He has worked as visiting vitreo retina consultant at Purnima Netralaya, a center of excellence in ophthalmology at Jamshedpur and Lokeshwaranand Eye Foundation, Purulia (W.B.) and presently working at Pushpanjali Eye Care as a Consultant Vitreo Retinal Specialist and other hospitals as visiting retina surgeon in Kolkata.
